Help with Rat snap trap please

Ok, I don't know what is wrong with me, lol, but I've got the trap all baited and ready to lock....but i cannot for the life of me figure out how to attach the locking bar. i don't see any "curved part" of the bait pedal...help!

Not so much a curve, but a blip on the bait plate. Very sensitive, so be careful!
