HELP WITH RESCUE EGGS

So it's been a little over 24 hours since the first signs of external piping, and this is where we are at. The duckling is still chirping away and it sounds almost like he/she is biting away at the shell. Should I be concerned at the slow progress, or is this fairly normal?

Ducks are VERY slow to go from external pip to zip it can be anywhere from 24-40 hours, so make some popcorn and sit on your hands
lol
what is your humidity at?
does it look like it is yawning?

@DwayneNLizKeeping humidty at the right levels has been challenging in my makeshift incubator, but I've been trying to keep it at around 60, I've been getting conflicting advice about humidity for Mascovy ducks, some say lower some say higher. It did appear to be yawning a bit when I checked in this morning.

60% should be good
yawning is good, it means it is absorbing yolk
after it is done with that it will rest then get very noisy and start to zip

So turns out I may have waited too long in my rescue attempt, I think the little guy suffered from lack of humidity and he may have had what I've seen referred to as "shrink wrap." I gave the little guy 48 hours checking periodically with little to no progress. I eventually went in and helped him out, very slowly and following instructions I found on here. He was stuck to the inside of the egg, unable to get out. He's out now, but he seems to have issues raising his head and getting his feet under him. I've made an electrolyte formula, mixed in some niacin and vitamin e, and I'm considering trying food soon. Any further advice or corrections would be greatly appreciated.

How is it doing on the water is it drinking? if just hatched today probably won't want to eat till tomorrow but you can encourage it to drink put you finger or use a dropper and just put a little water along the outside of the bill to encourage drinking. It may take it a while to get it's legs under it and raising it's head. hatching is very hard work.

No food! Can you go to Tractor Supply and get some Nutri-Drench? I give my slow to start Mucovies a drop of that once or twice a day, and a drop or two of Pedialyte, Gatorade, or water every 1-2 hours. Keep it warm.

So no water K?  I thought maybe some dribbled on the lil bill might help. :(

Yeah, water is fine. I don't have much luck dribbling it on the bill, so I open the bill and apply one drop. Water should be warmed to about 100-102 degrees f.
