Help with Run Design

We have transformed an old playhouse swing fort into a coop. So far the enclosure of the main coop is going well. But my question is how to attach a run to the coop with the roof lines going in different directions!

The main coop has a a frame type roof and the run will have a slanted roof for the water to drain well. How would you attach the two? I would love to see pictures of someones if they have the same design.

Hi Nana,

Have you thought about enclosing the whole thing in a 'hoop-house' type of Walk-in-run. I know that those play houses are really charming. If you got cattle panels and arched them (they come in about 16-foot lengths) You could cover the whole area and just set the playhouse inside--- something to consider. Good luck, and post back when you have your coop finished so you can inspire others. :O)

I posted a coop and run build my self, my run I believe it what your looking for or somewhat . We just got ours done, it's amazing!

Thanks ChickKat that sounds very cool. Have to check into it and see if it is in the budget Not sure how much the cattle panels would be. Thanks again for the input.
