Hello,
If anyone could help me identify what the problem is with my guinea hen I would greatly appreciate it. I bought a 5 month old hen last week, and after I got it home I noticed one of her feet was swollen, a little scaly and black. She is holding it up also and dosen't want to put any weight on it. She is eating and getting around ok. I sprayed her with some adams flea and tick with insect growth regulator in it. It seems like the scales have fallen off the top and more healthy ones are growing. Could this be broken-leg mites-old infection? I have a good picture but cant figure out how to change the format to load it on here, but i could e mail it to you.
Thanks so much.
Amanda
