Help with Sex of 10-week-old EE

This is a pullet.

Most EEs are actually very, very easy to sex. You just have to forget what you know about other breeds, ignore the comb/wattles for the most part, and concentrate on the feather patterns. The very smooth, all-over partridge pattern (a darker or lighter head/neck is fine) of your pullet? Clearly female. The patchy color pattern of the OP's cockerel with red coming in on the shoulders? Male.

Cockaloos, that is a rooster. But I'm not seeing any easter egger there, or ameraucana. With those rare breeds I'm not sure what it could be, but it's a nice looking bird and looks like it should be a "breed" of something. I'm not a Marans person, but could it be a blue Marans? Or blue copper, with that red leakage?

Don't Marans have single combs? At least, my Marans rooster has a huge single comb, but he is from someone's color project pen, so that means something else might have been crossed into him for color.

Flockmomma, so nice of you to look that up! Originally we had thought we bought a Swedish Flower Hen, available that day. But then a few weeks later it became clear he was not a SFH and those on the SFH thread said more like an EE. I went to Pollinate and the breeder and they thought that Flo was probably mislabeled and was an EE. The Blue Ameraucanas were not available that day so def not one (plus, they have green legs I am told). And Flo looks nothing like the rest of the breeds listed here. I guess if Blue Bredas look different than the picture then maybe. I'll look that one up. At any rate if you all know of anyone in the Bay Area who is looking for the sweetest roo that ever was...

Maybe this will help. This is a picture of my 2 Easter Eggers from Ideal Hatchery ( Ideal claims they are Ameracuana but they are Easter Eggers since they don't show most of the Ameracauna breed standards). As chicks they both had what I believe are called the "chipmunk" coloration of stripes/dots. The pullet is the dark chestnut colored one. Notice the difference between her wattles, comb and tail compared to the roo in front of her. The EE roo is the darker one. He is a bit larger than the pullet and notice his comb and wattles are much larger than the pullets. His tail has the longer feathers growing in and he has a bluish peacock type sheen to his feathers. They both have yellow legs. They are both approx. 3 and a half months old. In case you are wondering, the black chicken in the back ground is a Crevecoeur from Ideal, same age as the 2 EE's.

"Flo" is for sure a rooster. It is possible that he could be an EE. EE's are actually not a rare breed but are mixed breeds, usually Ameraucana or Araucuna (sorry, I probably have those 2 names misspelled) mixed with something else. Since they are mixed breeds, it is very possible for "Flo" to have that coloration. I got a chick from murdoch's (feed and ranch store around here) that was supposed to be an EE pullet. Well, it eventually showed some leg feathers, no beard/muff, and grew like a weed (until a dog or animal got it 6-7 weeks ago). I never did figure out what breed (best guess was buff brahma or a Cochin, but never was certain). So I get the not knowing bit. Especially about one you really like. It was my favorite.

Yes, that's what I was told, that Flo is a mix of some kind, therefore an EE And I get that she's a he; posted him on Craigslist hours ago.
