Help with sex of 8 week old pekin x silkie chicks please

Hi all,

Another sexing help question from me Does anyone have thoughts re the sex of these two pekin x silkies? Hatched 16 November so 8 weeks old. Both have visible combs and have done for a couple of weeks. Chicken 2 has a slightly bigger and more red comb than chicken 1. Chicken 1 is absolute bottom of the pecking order of this hatch (so hoping she’s a pullet?) . Both are same size and same feathers.

Things like that happen with hatches. Beautiful boys though!

Just so I know for next time, is the comb at this age that gives it away? Would pullet silkie x pekin have any combs at all at this age? Thanks again!

The early red combs and especially the wattles is the give away.
