Help With Sick Pekin

alright i can get better feed. however, how do i get him to eat it?? he wont eat at all. i even tried to get him to eat some earthworms and he wouldnt touch those.

What feed do you have him on now? I didn't read what you were feeding him, but he's not eating that either, right?

correct. he is not eating it. it is whole corn.

I don't know how to get a duck to get to eat. I'll be waiting for the answer as well.

A question to those that know. If a duck has been malnourished, do you want to immediately change their diet, or would it be something you would want to do gradually?

Can you get a small amount of pelleted feed or ground up grain? I feed my ducks a wet mash, which is ground up grain mixed with water. It has the consistency of a very thick soup. I have also made this by soaking pellets in water. Give this to him along with the water.

I was sure he would have eaten an earthworm.

would it be a good idea to give some poly-vi-sol without iron as well?

What about cleaning out the wound? Should that be done, and if so what should be used to do it and how often?

by pelleted feed do you mean like rabbit feed? and i have been cleaning out the wound everyday
