Help with this chick please.

Newbie here. Both of my lemon cuckoo orpies hatched with this, the first one died but this one is pretty active.

I have it on a wet cloth but there is some dryness on the back. Will this absorb? What to do? Need advice please. Thanks.

Welcome to BYC - sorry for the circumstances. It appears as if your chicks hatched prematurely for some reason. The yolk sac has not been completely absorbed. I have heard that wrapping the chick in a moistened cloth and leaving it in the incubator helps facilitate the absorption of the sack. Sadly, I have rarely saved a chick with this condition. I hope that you have better luck.

Thanks, that is what I thought it was but it didn't look quite the pictures on the "Hatching Eggs 101" page. I have him in a damp cloth but he is so active he doesn't stay wrapped and t is drying up a bit now.
