Help with winterizing

This is my first time with a duck outside through a winter. I have an Indian runner. What are good options to keep her safe and warm through a Massachusetts winter?

Well your duck will defiantly need somewhere to stay. In a barn or garage would work. It would also be a good idea to look for a few more duck friend/s for her. Ducks, runners I find in particular, enjoy the company of other ducks. Plus they can stay by each other to stay warm. Using a heat lamp would give that extra warmth that a lone duck just can't make. I use straw during the winter for my ducks. Hope that helps
