Help! Worried about duck I just hatched.

My ducks r starting to hatch in my incubator. I had one hatch at about 7am this morning. It's all the way out of egg and still wet. It's just kinda laying there though. It peeps and kicks a little but overall seems pretty weak. Is that ok or should I be worried?

It should be fine. They are tired after the effort of pipping, zipping and hatching.

It seems a little stronger now. Phew!

Remember when Mom hatches them, she will not leave the nest once they start to hatch. She can sit there up to 3 days. What goes on under that hen is anyone's guess. In nature, that baby could be sleeping a day or so before it gets up.
Don't open the lid however or you will blow the hatch.. just let it be untill all your eggs are done, or 2 days.
