Help would be appreciated to help me start my chicken adventure!

That kind of coop seems like a good idea to me, I'd like to have your opinion ;

I would make the roof differently though to make better air movement and replace the window mesh by a real window If i can find one.

Since the coop is pretty much like and empty closet and is quite tall, I guess it would be easier to make adjustment if needed.

The run would be done differently too, but at the moment the run is not my concern.

Doesn't look like a bad plan....for a couple birds.
Still a small foot print but the height definitely an improvement over many small coops.
 
I would make it bigger/ wider, and have more openings, both at the top of the highest walls, and on the south and east sides. Hardware cloth over all openings, not chicken wire, and with wider roof overhangs, no real need for actual windows. If you have a Habitat Restore nearby, doors and windows are a great buy there!
