I would not recommend using a mister in your run. Not only do pools of standing water breed mosquitoes, chickens can be susceptible to respiratory issues which can be exacerbated by misters adding moisture and humidity into the air. Take it from someone who lives where its humid, moisture in the air sometimes actually makes it feel hotter. Here are some other tips on keeping your flock cool from someone who actually lives in the South !
