I have found a rat snake on my back porch that is where the chickens roost since I don't have a coop, I think its a rat snake it was gold in color it was after my bannies since there is no eggs, I collect them as soon as they lay them, I have a wooden floor so the snake can go through the cracks, I have tried moth balls but that doesn't seem to help, I have seen it 3 times already trying to get my bannes I don't know what to do maybe I should try sulpher

Does it move fast? If not, keep a big shovel on the porch, and go for the head.
