Help!

Help! I just lost 3 out of 5 chicks! what could have gotten them? There were two left that seemed fine. No feathers or anything lying around. Would a hawk take 3 birds ar once? They are about 3 months old so they weren't tiny. I have an aprox 6 foot tall fence so they didnt just escape.

Cats, Hawks, Eagles, Raccoon, predators are everywhere...

This was during the day. Also we don't have many raccoons in this part of Alberta. I've actually never seen one.

Sorry for your loss. Many critters can climb your fence, and hawk can fly in the run. It would be best to reinforce your run before getting more birds. Weasels can walk through the wire too. Mary
