One of our rescue dove eggs now has a hole with a tiny bit of yellow, the size of a pen mark or smaller.

We weren't even expecting anything to happen but this just occurred.

What could this be? Is it dead? S it trying to hatch?

Any advice is appreciated!

Any advice is appreciated! In a perfect world the parents will look after all the squabs needs. Feed clean water daily to the parents a bit of gravel or grit and they will be good to go.
