It could be perosis or slipped tendons which could be hereditary or from a deficiency. Choline, manganese, zinc, biotin, and folic acid are some deficiencies that can cause it. You could try some vitamins. What are you feeding them? Check that your feed isn't old. That's my thoughts.

Some would say they need a higher protein feed like game bird starter, but I've raised poults on chick starter. It's possibly an injury, but it still looks like a slipped tendon as it looks to be turned sideways a bit, am I correct? I still might try some vitamins in the water than consider culling if it doesn't improve. Is it your only poult? It could just be something with the one.

Its turned to the side and the knee is swollen he and7 others were part of a trade one died un expectedly and now he's hurt I don't want him to have a poor quality of life so if it doesn't get better yes I believe I will have to cull him

Sorry i can't be more helpful, it does sound like a slipped tendon, when there's swelling with it, it can sometimes be a niacin and vitamin E deficiency. It happens occasionally despite doing everything right. I would still try some vitamins than see what happens. Your son looks so worried, i feel bad for you guys.

Sorry, now I can see her, thank you, I wish you the best of luck, hopefully if anyone else has a better idea than me they will let you know.
