So I have a flock of 9 hens and a rooster. 2 of the hens are around a year while the other 7 are about 6 months old. My problem is one of my older hens is beating up on my rhode island reds. She has scalped one and pecked the other. I don't know if I need to isolate her or what. Any advice

If you can, then isolate the aggressor so she is not visible to other chickens for 2 weeks. When she is reintroduced , she will be at the bottom of the pecking order. Sometimes this is a good solution. Other option is chicken soup..
