Help!

Hi everyone i'm new and i need some help! I'm 2 hours into day 21...i have 6 eggs in a homemade incubator. Everything has gone great. Temp & humidity next to perfect. I just came home and saw that one of my eggs is cracked down the side and across. No pip, no movement, membrane intact. This egg was just rocking 24 hours ago. What in the world is going on? Should I remove the egg since there are no other pips??

There is a bit of blood now visible on the piece of shell on the side.

If you didn't do that, then it's a safe bet that the chick inside the egg did it. While it's not exactly a normal pip, I would consider this chick to be well on the way to hatching within the next 24 hours.
