Help!

My mom got a baby chick and wants me to doctor it. Something in its leg is broken or nit right, it hops around with the feathery bit pushed out and when I hold it upside down, it doesn't curl it's toes. If it's broke, I don't know where to look and how to splint it

Also how old is it, and do you know how the injury happened?

She kicks it out as she walks

I would like to get her leg fixed up as soon as possible, so if anyone could help that'd be awesome

I put some splints on the bottom two parts of her leg. I'm not sure if that'll work as I'm not sure yet what is entirely wrong but just have to keep trying

It may be a slipped tendon. Google 'chick, slipped tendon' and you will find videos and links to help you determine if that's what it is and how to treat.

Thank you, I think that is what it is. I can feel her tendon pop back when I moved it
