Ducklings need extra niacin and if possible be on Duckling starter or feed for water fowl...Young Ducklings find it easier to eat wet soupy food and need water to dunk their heads in many times a day...

did not know about niacin -- they do not have duckling starter here -- I am in tears the tiny one just passed away -- but the two others seem to be getting better

I would def get your 2 remaining ducklings on niacin either buy plain niacin not time released or flush free or Nutritional/ Brewers yeast. When we have to use chicks starter it is lacking in the niacin water fowl need to be healthy.

So sorry about your duckling.

Also some do use medicated feed for water fowl but it isn't the best. When you have to switch over to their new feed try getting an all flock crumble it is more formulated to all species of poultry .

Is there niacin in it if so how much. I have never used it so don't know.
