Floppy comb.

Here's a couple pictures of the one I think is a roo. I saw it in the nesting box this morning and either it layed an egg or just looked like it when it got up. I'm so confused!!!!

Not sure if it's just my hatchery's name for it, but it looks like a Red Rock Cross. I think that's Black Sex Link, right?

Awesome!!!!! She's the sweetest and I was so afraid I was going to have to give her away. So she is the one that has been laying. I have gotten 6 eggs in 7 days. Layed the first day, then skipped a day and has been laying everyday since. She started early so I still had her on med. grower crumbles but have switch to layer pellets. Are the eggs safe to eat or should I wait a week or so because of the medicated feed??

Yes, it's safe. There aren't any antibiotics or anything like that in it.

Lol, agree with others, white leghorn hens have combs like that. A rooster has a bigger taller straight up comb. And the black one I also agree looks like a black sex link.

The white one with a floppy comb is a Leghorn pullet. The black one with a red chest is a black sex link pullet. You will have plenty of white and brown eggs in no time.

Yes, white eggs. The first one was small and now they are closer to medium size.
