Should I take the chicks out of the incubator this evening. They hatched last night while I was asleep and I saw them this morning. How long can they be in the incubator. I think more will hatch. They're button quail so I can't candle some

In my opinion, don't worry about candling.
At this point they're either ready to hatch or they won't. It's out of your hands.
If none of the others are externally pipped, quickly pull the chicks and perhaps add some water.

Thank you! I have one that's pipped for about 24 hours but nothing more. And I had to move a water container and put cotton balls so that If they jumped in it they wouldn't drown. So I did open the incubator for just a second for that. I know this could be harmful to the one that's only barely touched the shell with the tiniest hole I don't want to help the chick but when is it good to start unzipping it's shell? I wish so bad it would do it on it's own. I would hate to open its egg shell for it. But if it hasn't done anything more..... thank you so much!

I usually don't help but that's me.
If you open the incubator to get the chicks out, be ready to mist the pipped egg with some warm water.
