Hi I got my first 4 chickens last July when they were 3 days old. My silkie turned out to be a rooster and we kept him. Ester weekend I got 2 new full grown chickens and I hatche 4 chicks I have 2 a way and kept 2. My Easter egger has stopped laying she’s not even a year old yet and I’m very concerned about her. She hasn’t layed since Tuesday. Please help

Molting can stop laying. Do you see feathers laying around? How's she acting?

I have noticed when my hens stop laying they are low on vitamins and minerals. I just go to local store and buy a chicken block and solves the problem. If they are molting it's not a bad idea to pick up a block, it just helps provide a little more support for feather growth.

I recommend feeding her oyster shells, grit, fresh grass, laying feed, and some hen scratch. I also crush up my egg shells and feed it back to The hens. She will stop laying if she is broody or if she in molting. Is her behavior normal? If she sits on her eggs for the majority of the day, she is broody. If she is starting To loose feathers, she is molting. She may have a illness so keep a close eye on her.

Thanks she has been quiter than normal. Other than that she’s been acting normal. I will give her some oster shells and keep an eye on her. There are no fathers on the ground. I will keep updated

EE's can be sporadic layers.
You've added new birds(did you quarantine for pest and disease checks?) which is stressful.
Have you added the new chicks to the coop too...how old are they?

How big is your coop and run, in feet by feet?
Pics would help.

Before adding supplements...
What and how exactly are you feeding?

Also what is your general geographical location?
Adding it to your profile is easy and always helpful...
