Help!

I found one of my hens gasping i have her in the cool now and have gave her water her comb is purple... is there anything I can do to help her? (I couldn't upload a video)

Oh boy that is not good. Usually purple comb means heart issue or, for some reason, she's not getting enough oxygen. Can you look into her mouth and throat with a flashlight..maybe there's something blocking her airway that you can see? Did she drink the water?

I looked in her mouth I didn't see anything and she just drunk a little but no much
 
I don't think ascites comes on that fast. We had a bantam Barred Rock hen with it that we kept going for a long time. We used to drain the fluid (not much fun) but it did keep her going for quite a while. We also gave her Milkthistle which helped a lot. She never had symptoms like a purple comb or gasping. Does your hen have bloating in her lower half anywhere?
