Help!!

I am very new to chickens, I have 6 baby chickens. They are only 6 weeks of age and I have a huge coop built for them with a run, I've been trying the run out a bit (twice in the past week).

They should be old enough to go in the run, are there any other chickens in the coop?

They have to get settled in and comfortable with their new surroundings.

Welcome to BYC - thanks for joining us.

When I move chicks from the brooder to the coop/run, I usually keep them confined to the coop for 48 hours (with food and water) so they begin to associate the coop with “home”. After that, they should be fine enjoying their run and should return to the coop on an evening time. If they don’t seem to get the idea of returning to the coop, then suspend a flashlight in the coop - they will naturally migrate towards light.
