Help!

Try the scrabble egg it’s good protein. If she likes yogurt mix some crumbles in. You need to give her soft types of food. Her vent is where she poops too so it’s going to be sore. Always have water available. She needs to be able to drink whenever she wants.

Ok soooo i cleaned her again and tried pushing her vent in a bit more though im not sure if i did it completely....she is eating and drinking and she pooped though it was small.....i gave her plain yogurt too im hoping that was ok

Plain yogurt is fine for probiotics mixed into egg or some feed. I would not give her more than a teaspoonful a day. She can be out of her crate during the daylight hours for up to 8 hours a day, walking around, eating. Just don’t let the other chickens get close enough to her to peck her. If she is in the crate with them, she may enjoy hanging out with them during the day. If there are a lot of flies, keep her inside though, since flystrike (maggot infestation on wounds or prolapse) would be more serious. Once she stops laying for a few days, which can take 3-4 days since eggs are being produced continuously, then you can stop keeping her in the dark.

Well her vent doesnt want to stay in completely ...is that supposed to be normal for a prolapsed vent??

It may stay in eventually. Try putting some honey or Preparation H hemorrhoid cream on it to help with any swelling. If it is not that swollen, and you can easily push it back in, just keep it moist with ointment and keep on pushing it back, and it soon should stay in. It can take a couple of days. Not every hen with a prolapsed vent gets better and survives, but hopefully yours will.

Do this is today....does this look like its getting better at all???

That looks better. I would give her a daily butt soak in warm soapy water or Epsom salts water, just to keep the tissue cleaned and softened. Then reapply some plain neosporin or other ointment to keep it moist as it heals.
