Help!

In hatching a duck egg right now, jts day 29 and he/she has pipped earlier today. But I opened the incubator a few minutes ago to check on him and I can see his/her beak at the opening of the hole but it's not moving at all. Is it sleeping or could it have died? I tried tapping on the shell a little to see if it would move but nothing.

No.. he died, I'm still confused as to what went wrong
