Help!

Can you get some photos of her and her poop?
What do you feed?

If you can get her to the vet that would be best.

I still have them on Chickstart. I thought I'm not supposed to put them on the regular brooder feed until they've laid their first eggs. I've recently added a little scratch as a treat which is a combination of things including whole seeds. But only a handful divided amongst them once in a while. They do have a good source of chicken grit, both store bought and natural. But maybe it's too soon to give them whole seeds?

At 3 months old she should be able to eat whole seeds/scratch.
Chick starter is fine.

How long have they been outside on soil?

It might be a good idea to go get some Corid today and get it started. They don’t always have blood in the droppings with coccidiosis, and it certainly is safe for all the chickens. At her age, she still could get it. Even if you can get to a vet on Monday, I would probably start Corid today.

Wow! She's so much better today! She managed to dump over the bowl of feed I put in with her and watched her drink fresh water when I changed it out. Her poop looks normal too although I know you can't see coccidia without a microscope.

She's talkative and up on her feet.

But she looked so bad yesterday. I really was worried I'd find her on death's door this morning. So, this brings on more questions. What was wrong with her? Is it common for hens to exhibit sickness with such a quick recovery? Should I put her back in with her flock or keep her separated for a few more days?

I'm still going to pick up some Corid and Saveachick to have on hand. Wondering too if I should still administer the Corid?
