yes, on pigeons and chickens, the quickest way to clean them if you have new birds and no powder handy. Use ordinary house fly spray.

Well mines not ordinary since it says you can kill all kinds of flys, it shows an ant and a roach with some flys on it. What does your look like?

when I say ordinary I meant the usual spray, not those outdoor last for 30-60 days or the ones you have to dilute to use.

BTW, Sevin costs under $7. I paid $7 at my local hardware store, which tends to be much more expensive than the local big box stores like Lowe's.

Oh she is doing very good I got rid of all the mites with OFF and I got some sevin dust at some china hardware store and that took care of the few left surrounding the nest.

Dust the chicken and the next again in a week. This is kill the mites that have hatched from any eggs on her or in the nest, and prevent another infestation.
