Leave them if they have a proper shelter out of the wind with warm dry bedding.what temperature should the ducks be brought inside from their (non-heated) coop and into the garage or house? suppose to be 9° soon!
it has walls and a roof, and hay in it. but if it were to get down to the negatives (-20 or more) not now but later in the winter would they survive it?Leave them if they have a proper shelter out of the wind with warm dry bedding.
Definitely just provided you have nice straw bedding to huddle into and all the other proper things in place. Tough birds.it has walls and a roof, and hay in it. but if it were to get down to the negatives (-20 or more) not now but later in the winter would they survive it?

Straw is insulated so use that and as long as they are off the frozen ground use your discretion about how much straw to provide.is about an inch of straw/hay good enough?
ok thank uStraw is insulated so use that and as long as they are off the frozen ground use your discretion about how much straw to provide.
Straw won't rot in the winter so only use that in winter. Pine shavings I use in the summer months only in the house.ok thank u
