Help!

Just from your symptoms, to me it sounds more like a seizure than Mareks, but hard to know for sure. It is best diagnosed after death with a necropsy and testing feather shafts and any tumor tissue. Mareks can appear different in every bird, and there are 4 main types of Mareks. Some birds may only have one or more types. Here is some good information:

I just went to go check on him a few moments ago and he has not eaten at all. He stayed standing up all night in the exact same place I left him yesterday. It’s like as if he can’t move/ lay down.

Hi! :frow Welcome to BYC!

So sorry about your rooster. Poor guy. How did your other rooster die? Did he have the same symptoms?

no, the other one was grabbed my a man that wanted to take him and crushed his spine. I took him to the vet but he only lived a week after it happened.

I would concentrate on trying to tempt him to eat. Bring him out of the cage to see if he wants some company. He might be confused or lonely, hard to tell. It would be hard to know exactly what is going on in his brain. Mareks disease or an inflammation in his brain might be taking place, but seizures can be common. Usually with seizures, there will be some normal activity after a period of recovery. I hope you can coax him to become more active and eat.
