Help

She’s a 3 wk old barred rock the only thing that has happened was my meshing that covers fell into the brooder last night and separated them for a couple hrs at most. They eat dumor chick starter and they have access to a chick stick treat that hangs
Take the treat thing away...they are too young for treats.

Yes turn the heat down some ..70- 75 should be warm enough
if They are in the house ? You can use a regular light bulb to keep them warm
Yes too young for treats
And make sure they can get away from it if they are too hot .
It may have got dehydrated or hit by the screen .
Give her some sugar water ..see if that helps .
Ok I’ll turn off the heat bulb they still have a heat pad if they get cold. And they have a pretty good sized area to get away from heat to

I would lower the heat at least 80 if they are 3 weeks old. Offer water, and try to get her eating. Adding water to the food sometimes is attractive to get them eating. Look for any runny deoppings, standing around hunched or puffed up, or acting sleepy. Those can be signs of coccidiosis, and Corid from your feed store can treat that. Dosage is 1/4 tsp per quart waterer (2 tspper gallon) for 5-7 days. It is safe to treat all chicks with Corid.

@Katw17 they will want to see a pic or two of the chick and of her poop probably.
