This is my first time incubating eggs and everything was going well until last night! We had horrible storms which included power loss. Today is incubation day 18. We have been without power for almost 5 hours. I put the incubator in the car with the heat on and have kept the temperature around 84 degrees. There is no update from the power company of when power will be restored. I obviously can’t keep the car running forever. I can send them with my husband to his work but it’s a twenty minute drive and the eggs will definitely get bumped around. What should I do? I really hope they don’t die!

If you can I would try to get them to his work place, if they haven’t died from the cold already they will soon. They might get bumped around, but it might be your only option right now. Can you candle them to check for viability?
