we just moved and of course we brought the ducks with us. they have had a pond their whole lives but is a kiddie pool enough? also any ideas to help them adjust? they just seem so confused

Any water source that they can fully bathe in will be sufficient, with a kiddie pool make sure they have a ramp to get out on. They are going to be confused, birds don't like change, just keep them in their pen for a few days, providing some poultry vitamins in their water may help with stress.

Treats are extremely useful in helping most animals adjust. (Hey, we're in this nasty new place, and there's no pond, and the duck house is different, and the weather's nasty, and I don't like—Corn?! Corn! Give it here!)
thanks! and would one kiddie pool be fine? we are only giving them about half the yard because the neighbor has a big dog that we need to keep the ducks away from

As @Isaac 0 said, the only requirement is that they have a source of of bathing water. They'd be happier with something larger, I'm sure, but if that's not an option, tough luck ducks. I'm sure they'd rather have a smaller area than a mauling.
