Help!

Our baby ducky seems to have some kind of membrane or umbilical cord, which seems to be dragging around underneath him and is wrapped around his foot, I'm not sure what to do about it?

Do nothing. It will dry up and fall off. Pulling it off can cause bleeding.

He's all fluffed up now and running around like crazy, and absolute ball of cuteness, but his umbilical cord still hasn't fallen off, is that normal?

You can snip it if dried but wait an let @WVduckchick tell you how. That is a beautiful duckling love the yellow markings above the eyes ❤ I don’t hatch in an incubator so I haven’t ever had this.

Yes, and all I did was once the cord was dry, I very carefully snipped it near the skin, so the other ducklings wouldn't pull on the hanging stuff, the excess stuff dried up and fell off the next days after.

We're kind of afraid to cut it I case it hurts him or bleeds... Do you know if it will fall of on its own?
