Wow that’s a lot of baggage. Does it feel dried completely closer to its belly? You don’t want to snip right next to the skin maybe 1/4 to half inch away then that part will fall off on its own? What say @Isaac 0

Ok, also he's acting very hungry and trying to eat everything but most people say don't give any good within the 24 hours after he's born, can we give him some food do you think?

Yep, If it appears to be dry just cut about a 1/4inch away from the skin, you don't want to cut too close, but you don't want to just leave it as the other ducklings may start pecking at it, or she may get it caught on something.

Of course feed and water that little one . They can go 24 hrs without eating that doesn’t mean they have too lol.

I have seen Calls eat/drink as little as six hours after hatch.

Ok we've given him some food and water and he loves it, he's the most energetic little duckling we've ever had, he's racing around
