Help!

I bought a pre-owned pre-fab coop. We were not given all the parts for the roof, specifically the pieces that frame the plastic roof panels.

Any ideas? I considered replacing the roof with aluminum but its a little expensive.

Look to see if you are allowed to scrounge in the construction trash at your local dump, also check free pages of your local craigslist and Facebook.

Whatever you find, turn that into a bigger better coop, and use some scrap to make a roof on the prefab coop. Use the prefab coop as a chick grow out spot... or for a broody, etc. Use your new nice and large scrounged material coop as the main coop.

So you have the plastic roof pieces? Is the roof framing sheathed in wood? A pic might help here. You may just need some clusoure strips. To attach the roofing to the roof.
