I think the membrane should be kept moist with water rather than the coconut oil. Oil may block the transport of oxygen from outside to the veins. Just spray it with warm boiled water. Just a spray, not too much.

If the blood vessels still look full and healthy then yes she is most likely resting.

Good luck, I hope she pulls through for you, it's definitely a good sign that she is far enough along to pip!

Ah I see, they will shrink as she gets closer to being ready to hatch but usually not super quickly. If the vessels shrunk fairly suddenly and movement has stopped I'm afraid she may have passed. I hope not but if so I'm so sorry.

day 25 is pretty late and if she was breach and just pipped it likely would have been another day or two before she hatched. There probably wasn't a great likelihood of her making it even had the air cell not been opened being that she was so late.
