Help!

I have a duck with niacin deficiency and I can’t find regular niacin. I do how ever have Brewers yeast that I think putting on her food and sharing with other dicks she obviously does not get enough. I separated her so she could have her own food but she is not eating. Not much info on how much I can put in water. She does drink but just a little. Does anyone know how much to dose in small amount of water to ensure she gets as much as of you were able to find regular niacin?

For my goose with the same problem, I bought a $10 bottle of liquid vitamin b complex at GNC, tore some spring mix into tiny pieces and put 1 drop on each piece (10 drops a day) and hand fed her. She gobbled it right up. It took about 2 weeks, but she was so much better. I was then able to just add the brewer's yeast to the food.

Love your BYC name!! Maybe you just wanted to hand feed your goose but if not just putting 1 ml over her spring green mix would have probably worked. Glad to hear she is doing great now.

I do love hand feeding them! I did it that way because I didn't separate her from the rest of the group, so she got the individual pieces with one hand while everyone else got handfuls with the other hand. Later, I had a duck affected as well but I was finally able to hunt down regular niacin to add to the water and take care of all of them

If you are in the USA and near a Tractor Supply you can get the best niacin supplement there. Also I think you can get it on amazon too. It's $16.99 for a big bottle and is the best!
