Is there a draft coming through that door?
Where is the roost for them at night? Is it on the side of the coop not by the door or is the roost opposite the door.

The roost is near the door on the side but since I have two doors the roost is in the middle of those two doors. And I don’t understand what draft?

Just the parts that die. Whatever is the normal red color will remain unless it gets frost bit as well. It will fall off when it's completely dead and there's no more blood flow. Could be a few days, could take a few weeks. Usually you will just notice suddenly that it's no longer there

What? So if my chicken has no comb.. would it die?

A draft is any breeze or wind coming through an opening no matter how small.

I would say that this caused the frostbite of the wind does come through the door. To prevent further frostbite you will need to some how block the draft. Do you have anything up on the walls of the run to prevent drafts?

Theyl l be fine. They just might look a bit weird
