Just a silly thought something you can do with cats could work on kids. what about a motion detector sprinkler system you can attach a canister of dye in the hose line if you really want to get creative.

Hey.. I read this over and I realized that I didn't tell y'all that my geese actually got attacked by a cayote the gray one passed and the white one we nursed back to health. I was just wondering what breed she was. Anyway we got another goose to keep the white one company and we've had her for 3 days, she was starting to bond with us when suddenly about an hour ago, she flew away! she was a pilgrim goose and she just got spooked and flew high in the air (about 20feet) and was off. She didn't go in the direction of her old home . Is there any chance of her coming back to us?
