Woke up to check on chicks, refresh water and bedding and check bottoms. One chick look like she pecked a bit near some dried poo on her bottom and has made a sore spot. Cleaned, put some coconut oil on it…anything else I should do? Checked bottoms before bed so whatever was irritating her happened after. TIA

That looks like an open navel to me, it should heal on it's own, try not to make it visible to the other chicks so they'll leave it alone
Is there a way to get her to leave it alone? She keeps pecking it. I’m holding her now, but can’t hold her all day- If it hurts won’t she stop?

I havent had problems with chicks picking at their belly button. If it's bleeding you can use either corn starch or flour to help it stop... Chicks tend to peck at red things so maybe the color change would make her stop.
