Our cat has REALLY beaten up this wild baby bird badly. He has multiple Open wounds!!!! We don’t know what to do! We have been giving him sugar water (it is like an electro light). Please help us

They are open wounds, really bad I’ll send a pic. We don’t know what kind of bird but One of his cuts expose his throat and the other wound exposes his ribs.

Take it to a wild life center. Hopefully they can help it.
This sounds pretty bad unfortunately. A wildlife rescue will be able to make the best decision going forward.

Our wild life center isn’t taking birds at the moment but we are trying to find a place that will take him.

He is now starting to breath very heavily.

Call local poultry vets if you know any. They will have suggestions.

It's a juvenile dove. Sounds like some serious injuries.

Can you get the edges of the wounds together? If so, take a sharp pair of cuticle scissors and trim the edges and then you can use super glue to hold the edges together. If you have an antibiotic powder, use it in the wounds. You can feed it soaked dry dog food or offer whatever food that type of bird usually eats.
