Hello! It doesn’t appear to be injured at all, maybe something just got in its eye and is irritating it? You could maybe try some eye drops…
In the very worst (but also very unlikely) case scenario, it could end up going blind in that eye. But even then, it will figure out how to cope with it and will get along just fine. I had a chicken that was deformed when it hatched. I felt bad for her and knew she would die if I didn’t do something, so I bought her and five other chicks to keep her company. A whole side of her face was un-developed, and she had scissor beak and only one eye. She actually ended up being my friendliest and sweetest chicken, probably because she was more dependent on me than she’d be if she was normal.
