I have a hen that I saw limping so I checked her out and couldn't find any bumble and no evidence of mites etc. And she is eating fine and drinking fine but after putting her in chicken hospital she is now limping on the bend of her leg and with further examination it looks to me like it is swollen? She laid an egg and her shell was there but it was not as thick as other eggs. She is a new layer so I have factored that in but I am insure what is going on. Vitamins have been given in good and water and extra calcium and protein given as well and also sprayed antibiotic spray on the bottom of her foot as well as a precaution. Pictures are attached

Yes but he is in an enclosed area away from her. I am using poultry booster and poultry cell. She isn't wanting to walk on her foot, but instead on thw area that is pictured now

She might have sprained her leg jumping off a roost, or been injured. Resting the leg for a week or so might help. Is your coop and run large enough to confine her inside a wire dog crate with food and water, so that she can still be with her flock? You might give her a human calcium citrate tablet with vitamin D3 for the next few days to a week, to see if her shells get stronger. Make sure that your vitamin contains riboflavin in case she has a riboflavin (B2) deficiency. B complex tablets 1/4 tablet a day are economical.
