My ducks just started laying eggs yesterday and today my Rouen is acting weird. Starting from this morning, my Rouen has been distance from her sister. She wouldn’t be right behind her on her butt all day, she would start to sit in random spots and just stay there. I thought this was because she just started laying and was maybe about to lay more eggs. I went out and did their water and my Rouen walked into her pen and this she started to walk sideways and flapping her wings, almost looked like she was having a mini seizure, but I don’t think she was. We sat her in the grass and she did it more, just stumbling down. She was breathing a bit heavy and was shaking a little bit. Almost like a shiver as if she was cold. She now just been sitting out in her coop for a bit in the same spot. I cracked open the eggs I got yesterday and the one egg I got today. The egg I got today was double yolked and one of the yolks were green. I don’t know if this connected, but if it could mean sickness I would connect the egg to my Rouen. I put some boost in their water bowl and will be watching them tonight. I was hoping for some advice or maybe some hope as if this was just a moment she had since it’s her first egg laying cycle or what this could mean.

Also when she was walking around this morning she had more than a waddle to her, I would describe as her walking like she’s nine months pregnant. She didn’t have a limp or stumble, just more waddle.
