Help

My chicken walks like she’s drunk. I checked her she has mites. Can mites do that or do I have other problem.
Mites can cause a number of heath issues.

I'd give her a good dusting with a Permethrin based poultry dust in 5 day intervals.
Housing, nesting boxes and roosts also need to be cleaned out and treated as well. Permethrin spray is usually the easiest to use in large areas and can get into nooks and crannies. Treatment of housing, etc, should be done in 5 days intervals as well.

I'd also focus on getting her hydrated, give her some sugar water or electrolytes. It would be good to also give her vitamins to help build her back up. Poultry Cell given orally a few times a week at a rate of 1cc per 3pounds of weight would be good to give.

Possible she may be sick and this allowed Mites to infest her. Does she have any other symptoms like having trouble laying eggs, worms, etc.?
Photos of her and her poop may be helpful too.

Yes, mites literally can suck the life out of chickens. You need to address that fast. Most use permethrin/garden dust on their chickens and the coop. Repeat in 10 days.

I'd also give her vitamin water, like Poultry Cell to help her recover, and you could also pick up some raw liver for her. That'd help her replenish blood loss.

I will separate her from the rest. I’m going to store tomorrow to buy some permethrin spray. And D earth stuff. I don’t think she lays anymore she is 7 and will get pic of poop when I can. I’m in process of deworming all 30 right now. Yearly thing. I do give them vitamins twice a week in their water. And layer booster. They are just coming off of molt so out of the 30 I’m only getting 4 eggs. Plus with the weather getting so cold. I put some straw and leaves in roost to help with the cold. Usually just use the straw but someone suggested using leaves with it so I did. Do you think that’s the way she could have gotten the mites. None of the others seem to be scratching them self’s. But will check them also. I probably should clean all the leaves and straw out and start fresh. How long after I clean everything do u think I could put bedding down again?
