I have a 5 year old White Plymouth Rock. She developed a bad smelling vent. We treated her initially with soaking and Monostat. During that process we notice worms in her poop. We dewormed her over the next week using medication in water process. During this time we kept her separated from our other 9 birds in a large dog cage in the garage. Good news is that her vent problem and worm treatment were successful. However now she seems lethargic, slow on her feet and sits down a whole bunch. We have been trying to re-introduce her to the flock but with her exhibiting these symptoms it obviously isn't going well. She is eating and drinking. Poop looks good. She was bullied during some of our re-introduction but this seems more physical in nature.

Any thoughts on what this could be?

Did you take any pictures of the worms in her poop or her vent before treating her? Any pictures now? Has she laid any eggs recently? I usually keep hens with their flock while treating them to keep from having to reintroduce them. I would keep having supervised visits, and maybe keep her in a wire dog crate with her own food and water but near the others. Probiotics might help the smelly droppings. She might be suffering from a reproductive disorder at her age, and those can make them less active, choosing to sit around more. Is her crop emptying by morning before she eats or drinks?
