One chick hatched a hr ago no pips on the others yet. But becuase i have stagered hatch half the turner row are out half in with other babies due May 2. The new chick keeps climbing all over and getting legs stuck in the sides of turners. What should I do? My others in turners are only at day 17 and ducks have 7 more days for some. Need advice dont want chick hurt but i do not want to one bator. Any Advice would be great.

Remove the turner adn hand-turn the others three or four times daily, open the incubator/hatcher as small as possible to get the job done as quickly as possible and keep temps up the best you are able.

Hand-turning, in mho, works out best for the babies anyhow. I don't knwo why it does, but my hatches seem to do better when everything is done by hand.

    Good luck, and congrats!
