Up their protein, collect eggs more often, put a couple golf balls in the nests.

The golf balls didn't work for me. I did up the protein and calcium and collect more often and now they've quit eating eggs. I think when mine were eating them it was because they were new to laying and were curious about what the eggs were. With the shell being softer they were able to damage them easier and get a taste of the good stuff inside. After I upped the calcium the shells got harder and not as easy to break. I think the the protein helped reduce the urge to eat the eggs. Collecting more was actually started because the cold weather was cracking the shells open. If it help, all the better.
